Ok you asked for some critiques so I will see if I can help you out as best I can.

Well you have the right idea for getting your audience attention in this image, i dont know if your using 'this' particular shot of the king as your cover, but I think you should have something in the background to show viewer what is in the world with the characters. Don't get me wrong, You can tell that he is obviously a king, it's the white background that throws off the viewers attention. It gives a vauge idea of what he's king of. YOu might want to add some objects or the other characters in the story behind the king so we can get a feel for what the story is about.

But other than that It really looks great. Best of luck to you and L-univers-de-BL on the book, <D.

interesting design to say the least... doesn't look much of a tyrannosaur, probably more a mix of a lot of dinosaurs.
